Mangroves are usually a spectacular and abounding ecosystem, formed by trees growing between sea and soil on their stilt root. This environment, haven for biodiversity and source of life for human populations that life beside, is rapidly disappearing. Fortunately, nature is full of resources and today we see new kinds for organisms develop in the mangroves: colonies of microscopic animals, coral-like, filter the polluted water to extract salt and microplastics to build their skeletons. This fountain-like creatures periodically emit extremely pure water jets... directly into the polluted sea. What a waste.
